You know it’s time when the water should be streaming out but it’s spurting out the sides.

Your shower head probably isn’t something you think about cleaning but it does need to be done occasionally.

Shower heads can easily get clogged by water minerals meaning water won’t flow freely from the shower head.

If You Can Remove Your Shower Head:

What you need:

  • Bucket (large enough to fit your shower head in)
  • Small scrubbing brush
  • White vinegar
  • Cloth
  • Wrench

What to do:

  • 1. Remove the showerhead.

  • 2. Fill bucket with vinegar.

  • 3. Place showerhead in bucket filled with vinegar and leave it to soak for at least an hour.

  • 4. Take the showerhead out of the bucket and give it a good rinse off.

  • 5. Scrub any residue with a small scrubbing brush.

  • 6. Dry the shower head and secure back in the bathroom.

  • 7. Turn the water on to help flush out any vinegar left in the shower head.
